Which data is processed and from which sources does it come from?
We process the data that we receive from you as part of the registration for an event. These include:
Contact details
- Information required for registration (full name and email address)
Advanced contact details
- Information required to run the event and book services (in addition address, telephone number, company, gender and title )
Sensitive data
- Based on the type of event and required bookings, sensitive data may be requested. This is limited to birthdays as well as information on food intolerances and allergies. This information is aggregated and anonymized where possible.
Possible further information
- Preferences with regards to details of the event, e.g. timeslots or preferred sessions and topics

The processing of your personal data is carried out on the following legal bases:

All data processed herein is secured against loss, destruction, access, alteration and dissemination by means of technical and organisational measures. The hosting of the data takes place exclusively in the EEA area. A data processing agreement has been concluded with the provider.
- Hotels and accommodation
If required for room bookings, only their (extended) contact details will be provided to hotels and accommodations.
- Catering
If necessary for catering, only aggregated preferences will be passed on to the service providers.
How long is my data stored?
We process your data until the end of the business relationship or until the expiry of the applicable statutory retention periods (e.g. from the Commercial Code or the Tax Code); beyond that, until the end of any legal disputes in which the data is required as evidence. In the event of their consent, the conditions of revocation also apply.
