GermanyThe Schönberg wind farm in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is BayWa r.e.'s first repowering project in Germany. Ten Enercon turbines with a total output of 23.5 MW have been in operation since the end of 2019.
After completion, the wind farm was sold to a citizens' energy company, making it the first project in the state under the Citizens' and Municipalities' Participation Act applicable in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
