Solar park Kammerstein

Project overview

The Kammerstein ground-mounted solar park covers an area of 10.5 ha. Over 15,400 bifacial modules were installed on 8.7 ha. On the remaining area, compensation and replacement measures are implemented, which serve to promote local biodiversity such as breeding birds, wild bees and lizards.

With this project, the municipality of Kammerstein has now commissioned the third solar park in its municipal area and can cover far more than its own needs with the electricity generated.

In this PV project of BayWa r.e., the residents of Kammerstein can also participate financially in the operation of the plant.
