Cleaning of the nacelle and tower is essential on account of the contamination, possible fungal growth and oil accumulation that result from normal operation. It helps prevent a loss of value of the wind turbine and ensures the continued operation of all necessary functions.

At the same time, the tower flanges and external tower joints are checked and, if necessary, repaired. We effectively protect tower flanges that are particularly prone to corrosion against ingress of moisture with a special, permanently flexible coating. We also take care of the paintwork: should the tower's highly stable surface coating become damaged through environmental or mechanical factors, we eliminate any corrosion and re-coat the damaged areas with tried and tested, high quality paint systems.

All cleaning and consumable materials are gathered at the foundation level and disposed of properly with proof of disposal. Environmental protection down to the smallest detail is thus taken into account. If restoration is required following a fire, however, extensive cleaning work must be carried out.
